Help Tavaero in the Fight Against Breast Cancer!
HOUSTON, Texas (Aug. 19, 2024) -- Renato “Ronnie” Venturini, co-owner of Tavaero Jet Charter Corp. (Tavaero), is volunteering to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research and treatment as a Houston ambassador for the American Cancer Society’s 2024 Men Wear Pink Campaign. Venturini has established a goal of $5,000 for this campaign that will run through Nov. 4, 2024.

Speaking of his reason for supporting the Men Wear Pink Campaign this year, Venturini shared: “I don't know anyone who has not been impacted by cancer. I feel so fortunate, that even though I lost my Dad to cancer when he was only 66 years old, I have other family members who have experienced this dreadful disease and are now CANCER-FREE. I've seen what they've been through, and it truly is inspirational. It gives me and others a valuable perspective on what real challenges look like. Good health is something we often take for granted until we lose a loved one or watch someone you care about go through the process. It is truly an honor and a privilege to represent the American Cancer society in its perpetual quest for a cure for cancer through research and education."
Venturini is preparing for Men Wear Pink takeoff: he will encourage Tavaero staff, clients, family and friends to consider contributing funds for the ACS Houston Chapter’s Men Wear Pink Campaign; (start a new sentence here?) he has added pink polo shirts, pint T-shirts, pink socks, and pink sunglasses to his wardrobe; and he has agreed to wear pink and share positive messages via social media about his commitment to this campaign every day of the month of October.
“We have ordered pink shirts for our Tavaero office, flight and ground crew members to wear their support of this campaign literally on their sleeves. Also, our clients who book charter flights during the month of October will have the opportunity to contribute to the Men Wear Pink Campaign on Ronnie’s behalf. A link to Ronnie’s fundraising page will be available on our Tavaero web site as well as on information cards positioned on each of our airplanes,” commented Marcela White, who co-owns Tavaero Jet Charter with Venturini.
Lindsey Brown, senior development manager for the American Cancer Society South Region, explained: “While wearing pink throughout October, men are helping the American Cancer Society to raise crucial funds that are needed to support research to find the cure that will end this nasty disease and support patient related programs and treatment.”
Men Wear Pink Houston is now in its eighth year and is continuing to grow.
“Last year, we ranked sixth in the country by raising over $300,000. This year, we are aiming to climb the Top 10 ranks and bring in over $400,000. As a business leader in our community, Ronnie is an excellent ambassador for this campaign. People respect and admire his initiatives and priorities. He is a natural influencer for those whom he knows, and he will play a key role in helping us to fight, and eventually win this battle against breast cancer,” Brown said.
